The 2023 DC Travel & Adventure Show

I’m pleased to announce that on February 4, I’ll be speaking at the DC Travel & Adventure Show. The annual travel show will take place February 4-5 in Hall D at the Washington Convention Center. The venue has its own stop along the DC Metro Green and Yellow lines.

What’s New and Exciting with Baltimore’s Food Scene with Brian Cicioni and Jasmine Norton

At 1 PM on Saturday, February 4, you can join me in the Savvy Traveler Theater. I’ll be sharing the stage with Jasmine Norton, who owns and operates The Urban Oyster in her native Baltimore. We’ll be discussing our love for Baltimore, but with a twist. Jasmine will share what she loves about her hometown, while I’ll be focusing on how I first experienced Baltimore as a tourist from Pennsylvania and later as an NYC-based food and travel writer.

For a sneak preview of what we’ll be discussing, check out Jasmine’s Baltimore food guide, which I wrote in 2021.

Other speakers and seminars at the 2023 DC Travel & Adventure Show

The 2023 DC Travel & Adventure Show will follow the same format as those around the country. I’ve been attending the show in DC since as early as 2016. Other New York-based travel writers and TV hosts will include Peter Greenberg, Patricia Schultz, Andrew McCarthy, and Samantha Brown.

Accommodation options near the Washington Convention Center

There are several hotels located within two blocks of the convention center. Just look between 9th and 11th and I and K Streets. I’ll be staying at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington DC Convention Center. From the hotel, there are more than a dozen different dining options regardless of which way you turn. Dolcezza is one of my favorite ice cream spots in the city. And Chinatown starts one block east. Brickstones Kitchen & Bar is the hotel restaurant.

You can earn up to 80,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points by signing up for their no annual fee co-branded American Express Card.
