The 2024 New York Travel & Adventure Show
I’m pleased to announce that on January 27, I’ll be speaking at the New York Travel & Adventure Show. 2020 marked the final year of the New York Times Travel Show, which was held at the Javits Center in late January, the day after TravMedia’s IMM North America.
A Food Writer’s Guide to Brooklyn with Brian Cicioni
At 3:00 on Saturday, January 27, you can join me at the Javits Center in the Travel Workshops Theater. I’ll be discussing what I’ve learned about Brooklyn’s food scene over the past dozen years through cooking classes, food tours, and the Brooklyn-focused itineraries I’ve written for my blog, as well as outlets like InsideHook, and USA Today. For a sneak preview, check out this 2021 presentation I did for The Nomadic Network.
Other speakers and seminars at the 2024 New York Travel & Adventure Show
The show will follow the same format as those around the country. I’ve been attending the show in various cities like Long Beach, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. since as early as 2016. Other New York-based travel writers and TV hosts will include Pauline Frommer, Peter Greenberg, Mickela Mallozzi, and Samantha Brown. Speakers from the west coast will include Rick Steves, Angel Castellanos, and Phil Rosenthal.

And if there’s anything in particular about Brooklyn’s food scene that you’d like to learn more about, feel free to leave a comment at the very bottom of this post. There will be time for a short Q & A at the end of my presentation in the Travel Workshops Theater. Hope to see you there!

Hi Sienna. This show will not be streamed live. But it’s worth heading to their website to see about online events. There were some during COVID.

This sounds like a great event to attend, and your topic is spot on! I really enjoyed Brooklyn’s food scene when I was there years ago, and look forward to hearing what’s changed.
