The 2023 Boston Travel & Adventure Show
I’m pleased to announce that on January 21, I’ll be speaking at the Boston Travel & Adventure Show. The event will take place January 21-22 at the Hynes Convention Center. While I’ve written a few post-COVID stories about Boston and other New England cities, this will be my first time speaking at an event in Boston.
Why I (as a New Yorker) Love Exploring Boston’s Food Scene
At 10:15 AM on Saturday, January 21, you can join me in the Savvy Traveler Theater. I’ll be discussing why I first fell in love with Boston as a history buff and how my most recent visits have been to cover the local food scene. For a sneak peek of what I’ll be discussing, check out the 2020 USA Today piece I wrote about the best Greater Boston neighborhoods for food.
I’ll be staying at the conveniently located Westin Copley Place for the entire weekend and plan to explore the city after my presentation. If you have any suggestions, please leave a comment at the bottom of the page.
Other speakers and seminars
The 2023 Boston Travel & Adventure Show will follow the same format as those around the country. I’ve been attending the show in various cities like Long Beach, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. since as early as 2016. Other New York-based travel writers and TV hosts will include Peter Greenberg, Mickela Mallozzi, and Patricia Schultz.
Get $6 off admission to the 2023 Boston Travel & Adventure Show via Eventbrite
You can register for the show via Eventbrite. Be sure to use the code IMAYROAM23 for $6 off. And if there’s anything in particular about Boston’s food scene that you’d like to learn more about, feel free to leave a comment at the very bottom of this post. There will be time for a short Q & A at the end of my presentation in the Savvy Traveler Theater. Hope to see you there!

Congratulations! I’ve been to Boston once to see the Foo Fighters play at the stadium. The band my husband is in plays in Boston often though, and I have a cousin that moved there. I love all the historical sights there. It’s also easy to travel to Plymouth and Cape Cod from Boston. Good luck and enjoy!
Thanks Julie! I saw Pearl Jam at Fenway back in 2018. Was hoping to see Aerosmith this year, but it didn’t work out. Yes, Boston is a great base as well.
